The Centre for Educational Development (CED) at Aarhus University is looking for a research assistant for a 9-month position, with the opportunity to progress into a fully funded 3-year PhD fellowship.
The position is part of the Novo Nordisk Foundation project Transforming University Science Education in the New Media Era: Practices, Technologies, and Disciplinary Thinking. The research focuses on how AI and immersive technologies such as VR, AR and XR can support university-level science education and create new ways for students to engage with scientific concepts and practices.
During the 9-month research assistant position, you will prepare a PhD project proposal, contribute to ongoing research and conduct a smaller pilot study. You will also take part in CED’s work with the digital transformation of education at Aarhus University.
We are looking for a candidate with a Master’s degree in a STEM-related field, educational sciences, learning sciences, psychology or cognitive science, combined with a strong interest in STEM education and technology-enhanced learning.
